Murphysboro Blues Festival - Storms hit Murphysboro

Murphysboro was slammed with storms over the past couple of days. The Weather Service reported sightings of several funnel clouds, including near the areas of Carrier Mills, Murphysboro and Marion, resulting in the evacuation of Illinois Centre Mall.

The Murphysboro Park and the Shell Soundstage were not affected by the storms and so the Blues Festival is still a thumbs up! In fact, the predicted weather for the Blues Festival weekend is sunshine all weekend!
