This year's Sparta Blues Fest will be this weekend. The event showcases the legendary Chicago sounds of Little Milton Campbell. Little Milton is joined by Oliver Sain, the "Godfather" of St. Louis Rhythm and Blues.
They will hold a New Orleans Style parade on Friday, Aug 22nd:
Downtown Sparta on Friday, August 22. Line-up at 6:00, step-off at 7:00. parade will end at the Fairgrounds where the party will continue with music by Gumbohead until about 9:30 pm. Afterwards, different clubs throughout the community continue with blues music until 2:00 a.m.
