Akai Phase Shifter

Phase Shifter, from the Akai Professional Analog Custom Shop, is one of the more esoteric pedals in the product line. Phase includes A and B frequency toggle-switches and a Rate knob in heavy-duty polished stainless-steel housing. True-bypass switching and three control mechanisms provide precision control.

Phase Shifter provides an instantly recognizable swirling sound. The Rate knob sets how often the oscillation effect waveform repeats as well as the resulting pitch and depth of the signal. The A and B frequency toggle-switches can be set in four different ways. Combining these four settings with subtle changes to the Rate knob results in a range of lush, atmospheric ambience that swirls around as much or as little as desired.

Phase is powered by the included 9-volt battery or 9v AC adapter (sold separately).

Key Features:

  • Four distinct modes to match the character of multiple vintage phasers
  • Great for keyboards as much as guitars
  • Warm, classic sound
  • True Bypass for retaining a pure signal when the effect is disengaged

    Includes:

  • Phase Shifter pedal
  • Power cable
  • Quick start guide
